The Big Bang Challenge
Take The Challenge
Build your own STEM project and help solve real-world issues using our handy, step-by-step guides.

Build a STEM project, one step at a time
Help students develop STEM skills and explore real-world problems through creative project work. The Big Bang Challenge provides free, step-by-step resources to guide young people through building their own STEM project.
Designed for ages 11 to 18, it develops creativity, problem-solving and STEM skills while encouraging young people to turn ideas into solutions.
The Big Bang Challenge can also be a great starting point for The Big Bang Competition. Students can use The Challenge to develop a STEM project and, if they choose, enter it into The Competition and receive feedback from STEM professionals.
