How we can help you

We know all about careers in engineering and technology. From the skills employers want and where the jobs will be in the future, to all the career pathways in engineering and tech across the UK.

It’s important you have the latest workforce insights, an up-to-date understanding of the different jobs and the sectors they’re in. We can help with that too.

You can also find fantastic activities to support careers education. We talk about salaries, hard and soft skills, and what it’s like to work in these industries. So, if you want info on engineering apprenticeships, examples of STEM careers or want to know what different types of engineers do, we've got you covered.

We run our own activities but also showcase a range of quality-assured in person and online activities for both primary and secondary schools. Find workshops, trips, speakers, competitions, events and projects that are right for your school. They all include careers elements to raise aspirations and bring careers to life.

We are experiencing a lot of interest in engineering careers from our year 11 students. They have responded really well to the booklets given out so far, and they have supported conversations at home with parents.

Careers frameworks

Our careers team is dedicated to making sure young people are informed about the range of exciting opportunities they could have in engineering and tech.

We understand you need to deliver against relevant frameworks. We align with Gatsby Benchmarks, the CDI framework, the careers and work-related aspects of the Curriculum for Wales framework and the aims of Developing the Young Workforce (DYW Scotland).

How we work with careers partners

We work in partnership with careers organisations so our resources and activities hit the mark.

What we produce needs to be well-informed and high quality. It needs to align with the careers framework where you are and help you do your job. Working with these partners lets this happen.

We want our resources to be available for as many young people as possible, wherever they are in the UK.
