Taking place from 9 to 13 November 2026, this annual celebration inspires young people with the breadth of engineering and technology careers.

Overview
Tomorrow’s Engineers Week (9 to 13 November), led by EngineeringUK, is a national STEM awareness week that helps young people explore engineering and technology careers.
The annual celebration brings engineering and technology careers to life through hands-on activities, classroom resources and inspiring career stories. It highlights how STEM skills can help solve real-world problems.
This year’s theme, Shape our future, invites students to think like engineers and tackle some of today’s biggest challenges. Through 3 design challenges focused on climate change, artificial intelligence and food waste, students will identify problems, explore ideas and develop creative solutions.
Throughout the Week, teachers can access free classroom resources to deliver engaging STEM activities. Students will hear from engineers and technicians working across a range of sectors. Their stories showcase the variety of STEM careers available today. They also inspire young people to see how they can help shape the future through engineering and technology. Plus, there are interactive take-home activities to help students explore their interests, strengths and future career options.
