Advanced STEMbotics - Python Coding Robotics Workshop
Challenge your Y7-Y13 students with real-world robotics in this advanced workshop.

Overview
Challenge students with real-world robotics and text-based coding in this advanced workshop for years 7 to 13 (S1–S6).
Students design and build LEGO robots, then use Python to control motors, sensors and mechanisms through a series of practical challenges.
Using bespoke robotics mats, students apply computing and engineering principles to solve problems and put their programming skills into practice. They explore sequencing, selection and iteration, with opportunities to use functions and variables if time allows.
Projects include programming a humanoid quizzing robot or vehicle robot, with options to progress to more complex engineering challenges.
The workshop is ideal for students ready to move beyond block coding and deepen their understanding of programming.
Activities are mapped to KS3–KS5 computing, design technology and science, supporting GCSE and A-Level objectives and Python programming.
Sessions can be tailored to your timetable and curriculum goals. All equipment is provided.
