Sphero Coding and Pathways to University
Students learn how to code Sphero robots whilst learning about engineering and pathways to higher education in a super engaging way!

Overview
In this short workshop, students discover how to code Sphero robots whilst learning about engineering careers and pathways to higher education in a super engaging way!
Students will learn how to make their robots roll in different directions and speeds using the LED matrix as they go. Once they have the basics, they will code to all parts of the bespoke 'Pathways into Engineering' mat (showing all the ways that they can get into university, engineering courses, and careers including apprenticeships) and take part in a competition.
Using functions in the same way as software engineers extends your students' learning, and helps them to speedily build code to answer competition questions.
Capacity
Multiple sessions can be run throughout the day and even concurrently if needed. Minimum of 10 participants, maximum of 32 participants.

Dates and location
Skill Supply does not charge travel costs on top of their workshops if the location is within one hour of their office in Sandbach, Cheshire. For travel times over this, they will charge mileage, and for over 2 hours they may need to add accommodation costs on top. Full quotes can be offered before purchase.
