Ananyaa investigated the use of soybean chemiluminescence to support ignition and explored its potential as a more sustainable fuel source with her ‘Bio-assisted micro-combustion: using soybean chemiluminescence to modulate ignition and investigating if this can lead to a more sustainable fuel source’ project. Judges recognised the project's scientific rigour and its exploration of innovative approaches to sustainability.
