Who can attend?
The Big Bang Fair is free to attend and open to eligible UK state-funded school groups:
year 6 to Year 8 (England and Wales)
P7 to S2 (Scotland)
year 7 to Year 9 (Northern Ireland)
Schools are able to book either a morning or afternoon session.
What to expect
Students can:
take part in hands-on STEM activities
meet engineers, technicians and scientists
discover STEM career pathways
visit exhibitor stands
experience live stage shows
All activities are designed to help young people explore the exciting opportunities available in science, technology, engineering and maths.
The Big Bang Fair makes young people realise how their classroom learning links to the real world. They are seeing the reasons why they're learning maths and science.
