The Fair will return to the NEC Birmingham in June 2027. Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear when tickets become available and receive updates about activities, exhibitors and live shows.

Who can attend? 

The Big Bang Fair is free to attend and open to eligible UK state-funded school groups: 

  • year 6 to Year 8 (England and Wales) 

  • P7 to S2 (Scotland) 

  • year 7 to Year 9 (Northern Ireland) 

Schools are able to book either a morning or afternoon session.

What to expect 

Students can: 

  • take part in hands-on STEM activities 

  • meet engineers, technicians and scientists 

  • discover STEM career pathways 

  • visit exhibitor stands 

  • experience live stage shows 

All activities are designed to help young people explore the exciting opportunities available in science, technology, engineering and maths.
