Why take part?
With results like Ocean champion, Universe explorer and Civilisation saver, there are loads of different outcomes to the quiz! Your students will love this fun digital exercise – which can be taken on the website or download as a mobile app.
The process is simple – students answer 8 of the following multiple-choice questions, which provides an insight into their skill sets.
Which of the following statements do you think best describes you?
You're part of a team sent to a new planet to prepare it for settlers from Earth. Which of the following projects would you like to lead?
If you could work anywhere, where would it be?
What would you volunteer to help with during the Olympics and Paralympics?
Given the chance, which of these global challenges would you tackle first?
If you could be an animal, what would you be?
What do/did you enjoy at school or college?
Which of these would you love to do in your spare time?
It’s a good friend or relative's birthday. Which of the following would you be most likely to do?
The skill sets are: Problem-solving, Open-mindedness, Social conscience, Innovation, Teamworking, Communicating ideas, Determination, Creativity
By identifying the top 3 skills, the quiz determines what kind of career area the students could consider. Are they an Ocean champion, Universe explorer, Electric dynamo, Civilisation saver, Crime preventer, Coding legend, Health hero, Mechanical marvel, Future lifesaver or Electron pioneer?
The results are then broken down into jobs which might suit and interest the student. This makes their interests and passions into possible careers and, most importantly, these may be things they have never considered before.
