Interactive AI Literacy Workshop for KS2
KS2 students will learn what AI is, why it makes mistakes and how to use it responsibly in this 90-minute workshop.

Overview
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly changing our lives and how we use computers to solve problems. These highly interactive and entertaining workshops demystify AI and encourage critical thinking over its use. All the content emphasises the vital role which humans have to play in the ongoing development and use of AI.
Each 90 minute session is packed full of hands-on activities for students which allow them to explore, understand and evaluate AI systems in a safe, offline and age-appropriate environment. The provider will tailor each workshop from a wide choice of modules such as:
Training your own image recognition system using Machine Learning, testing and comparing its accuracy with other teams. Students learn the importance of selecting appropriate training data and compete to build improved versions using their new knowledge.
Learning how computer vision systems are trained and exploring an AI Object Detection system, as found in self-driving cars.
Detecting and explaining bias and errors in the outputs from AI Generated images and chatbot responses.
Competing to spot AI generated music and videos. Discuss whether AI can match human creativity and the implications for creative industries.
Explore how AI recognises faces and analyses facial expressions. Discover real-world uses for this technology and discuss its ethical implications.
These unique workshops require no prior knowledge or coding, all equipment is provided and the activities are ideal for SEND students. Each session is typically for 30 to 40 students, working in teams, although up to 60 students can be accommodated.

£450 for a half-day visit (typically 1 or 2 workshops) or £650 for a full-day visit (typically 3 or 4 workshops). Price includes travel within London M25 and all equipment.
