Green Careers workshop
Help your students explore the many routes into green careers through an interactive board game, while building skills for their future.

Overview
Help your students discover the many different routes into green careers through this interactive board game and CV-writing workshop.
Students make their way through a green career journey, collecting qualifications, achievements and experiences while navigating setbacks along the way. They’ll discover that there’s no single route to a green career, and that challenges and experiences can be just as valuable as qualifications when preparing for the world of work.
The game introduces students to a range of pathways, including vocational qualifications, apprenticeships, degrees and degree apprenticeships. It encourages them to think more broadly about their options and what they could achieve.
Students then bring everything they’ve collected together in a CV-writing masterclass, exploring how to present their skills and experiences in a real-life job application.
And there’s a twist: the first person to finish isn’t necessarily the winner!
The board game is also available as a giant lawn game. Please speak to the provider about adapting the activity to meet your students’ additional needs or requirements.
