Supergrid Wind Turbine Challenge
Students race to design the ultimate wind turbine and power their 'country' with clean, low-cost energy!

Overview
In this exciting STEM-meets-business challenge, learners step into the role of Design Engineers, working in teams to create their own wind turbine for a growing energy business. Their mission? Generate the cheapest electricity while powering their 'country' to success.
Through hands-on experimentation, participants explore how design, shape, angles and positioning impact turbine performance. Teams will test, refine and improve their ideas before going head-to-head with others to see who can produce the most energy.
Along the way, learners will also discover real-world careers in wind and renewable energy, and the skills and pathways that can lead them there.
