MadLab electronics workshop

MadLab is a unique, hands-on electronics workshop where students learn to solder electronic components onto specially-designed circuit boards.

The Neon quality mark shows this activity has been reviewed and meets Neon's quality standards.

Overview

Your pupils can try their hand at soldering, find out how electronics work in our electronics workshop. They can even make a buzzing puzzle to baffle their friends.

In the workshop, participants solder electronic components from start to finish onto specially-designed circuit boards. We start with a hands-on interactive talk to explain circuits and all the components.

There are several kits to make, from simple flashing lights to a programmable robot which is able to find its way around a maze. Participants get to learn how to use a soldering iron, and will actually make and take home a working electronic circuit.

Capacity

Minimum of 5 participants, maximum of 30 participants per session.

Prices for this Science Made Simple workshop start at just £690+VAT for up to 2 sessions.

We have availability any day of the week and can travel anywhere in the UK.

Duration

2 sessions of 90 to 120 minutes each in a day.
