Overview

In this flexible virtual work experience programme, delivered by Springpod and Leonardo, students will discover technologies that help keep people, infrastructure and information safe. Through videos, quizzes and interactive activities, they'll explore Leonardo's work and hear from professionals across the business.

Students will learn how helicopters are designed and manufactured. They will also explore advanced electronics and cyber security technologies. The programme introduces the many careers available across engineering, technology and digital industries. It also highlights skills, pathways and future opportunities.

Virtual work experience is a great way for young people to explore careers at a time that suits them. This free, self-paced programme includes more than 7 hours of content. Interactive tasks help build knowledge, confidence and career awareness. Students who complete the programme receive a certificate that can be added to CVs, applications and LinkedIn profiles.

Ideal for students interested in engineering, aerospace, electronics, cyber security or technology, this experience offers a valuable introduction to high-tech careers. It provides insight into industries that are helping to create a safer and more connected future.
