Overview

Coolest Projects is a free, worldwide showcase celebrating the amazing things young people create with digital technology.

You can use Coolest Projects as a hands-on classroom challenge to help pupils bring an idea to life. They'll get to experiment, solve problems, test their creations and improve them before sharing their work. They can make almost anything using code, computers or digital technology. Their project can be a brand-new idea or something they've already made and feel proud of. Works in progress are welcome too. All levels of digital making are welcome, from beginners to more experienced creators.

There are several ways to get involved:

  • enter the worldwide Online Showcase, livestreamed on 23 June 2027 (open to all)

  • take part in Coolest Projects Ireland at the Explorium in Dublin on 24 April 2027 (open to young people in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland)
