What are the Neon quality standards?

We worked with the STEM outreach sector to develop the standards and they are informed by evidence about what makes STEM enrichment effective. They provide a consistent framework for assessing the quality of activities and the experiences they create for students.

Activities awarded the Neon quality mark demonstrate a commitment to areas including:

  • inspiring and engaging young people with STEM

  • showcasing inclusive and contemporary representations of STEM
