Power up your passion with Tomorrow's Engineers Week

Date published: 24 September 2024

Are you ready? It’s Tomorrow’s Engineers Week 2024 from 11 to 15 November.

This year’s theme is... Power up your passion. We want to encourage young people to align their passions to a career in engineering and technology – a sector so broad we’re sure there’s a career for them!

A science classroom in a secondary school. A teacher talks to a group of students who are sitting and standing around a work bench, listening. On the work bench is scientific equipment and workbooks.

Tomorrow’s Engineers Week is more than an annual campaign – it’s a nationwide celebration of engineering careers. We invite you to join us in igniting curiosity in young minds and informing the people they look to for advice.

Register now and explore lots of free resources to help students learn how their interests and passions can translate into an engineering career.

There's a free assembly and a 'Day in the life’ film series offering behind-the-scenes insights from real-world engineers – and more! The films are supported by lesson plans to help guide them towards the many diverse STEM careers available.

Additionally, the ‘Match your passion’ panel, featuring early-career engineers and technicians, will give guidance and expertise throughout the week. You’ll have the opportunity to submit questions to the panel about the industry, roles and opportunities when you register.

We hope to succeed the 50,000 students aged 11 to 14 we reached last year to inspire them to pursue a career in engineering and technology!

I believe students will find these resources particularly engaging. They invite students to focus on themselves and think about their own passions and interests, sparking thoughts about potential career paths that align with their unique passions.
