Celebrating how engineers shape the world
5 November 2025
National Engineering Day, led by the Royal Academy of Engineering, aims to make engineering in the UK more visible. The day will showcase the breadth of the sector, focussing on how engineers improve daily life and shape the world around us.
For 2025, the day will concentrate on what it means, and what it could mean in the future, to be an engineer. Discover a new online guide, the AI-Z of Engineering on National Engineering Day, available for anyone to download. The guide features over 100 engineering jobs currently in the industry and what those jobs could look like in the future.
We’re proud to support National Engineering Day and raise awareness of the achievements engineers make every day. It’s the perfect opportunity to get your class excited about engineering before Tomorrow’s Engineers Week begins.
