Who we work with

We love to collaborate

We want all young people to know about engineering and technology careers. We can’t achieve that on our own, so we work collaboratively. We consult with teachers and young people. We want what we do to work for schools and reach more young people.

Working in partnership

We partner with careers organisations such as Careers & Enterprise Company (CEC), Careers England, Career Development Institute, Gatsby, The Skills Builder Partnership and Unifrog. We support National Careers Week and Green Careers Week. Our Neon careers resources are another team effort. They’re created by the EngineeringUK Careers Working Group made up of dedicated education, outreach, careers and marketing professionals from STEM Learning, UCL Engineering, Professional Engineering Institutions and Royal Academy of Engineering. And, of course, we have input from a secondary school teacher in the group.

It has been a pleasure to be involved in the Teacher Network. I have enjoyed talking to other teachers who have a passion for all things STEM whilst networking with others in careers, industry and so much more. It is pleasing that a group like this listens to teachers to help develop resources for other teachers to use in their schools.

Talking to teachers

We have a network of teachers, career leaders and SENCOs who we consult regularly. Their input and insights are hugely valuable and we appreciate the time they give us. It’s important to us to create programmes and resources that really work for you and for your students.

Our careers partners

What we produce needs to be well-informed and high quality. It needs to align with the careers framework where you are and help you do your job.

We work in partnership with careers organisations so what we do hits the mark. And so that it’s available for use with and by as many young people as possible.

Delivery partners

Organisations across the UK help develop and deliver our programmes. We work with different delivery partners across the country. In England we work with Canterbury Christ Church University, Smallpeice Trust and STEMunity and in Northern Ireland we work with Sentinus. In Wales we work with Education Engineering Scheme Wales (EESW) and See Science and with Prosper in Scotland.

How we are funded

EUK Education is funded by EngineeringUK. EngineeringUK is a not-for-profit that drives change so more young people choose engineering and technology careers. Our programmes also have additional funders, which allows us to make them available free of charge to state schools in the UK.

The Big Bang Fair is brought to you by EUK Education, with support from a wide range of funders from across STEM industries. The Big Bang Competition special awards are funded by the award sponsors. A list of funders is available each year. Tomorrow's Engineers Week and Neon are fully funded by EngineeringUK with non-financial support from a wide range of organisations.

Climate Schools Programme
is brought to you by EUK Education, with funding from Helsington Foundation. Helsington Foundation is a Climate Schools Programme funder for the period from September 2023 to August 2026. Energy Quest is powered by EUK Education, with grant funding from Shell. Shell is an Energy Quest funder for the period from September 2023 to December 2024.

Support us

There are lots of ways to support our work. From sharing our posts on socials and spreading the word about what we do right through to funding and programme delivery.  We want schools across the UK to know about us and make the most of everything we offer. If you see something you like, please pass it on. You could tag us on socials or send us a message – we like feedback!

We know school finances are challenging. The funding we receive allows us to offer our programmes free of charge, helping remove financial barriers. Funding bursaries extends that opportunity further, so more school students have the chance to take part in an inspiring STEM activity.

If you are a STEM professional, you might be interested in the volunteering opportunities available across our programmes.
