About the programme

Energy Quest is a curriculum aligned science workshop for 11 to 13 year olds which introduces students to the concept of 'acting like an engineer’. Students work in teams and use problem solving skills and their science knowledge.

Why take part

By introducing the concept of problem solving in teams, Energy Quest is more than a normal science lesson. It has a real-world scenario providing context which motivates students to try out the practical activities to help others.

Energy Quest can be run as a teacher-led workshop. Thanks to our partnership with the Volvo For Life Fund, schools in Scotland, Wales, Midlands, London and the South East can also now apply to have a free facilitator come in to deliver an Energy Quest workshop for their students. This facilitator led workshop lasts 2 hours.
