What is the Climate Schools Programme?

The Climate Schools Programme delivers resources, knowledge and confidence to schools, helping them address the climate crisis with students. It helps stimulate debate and interest in the issue, and communicates a solutions-focused message. The programme is designed to make links between curriculum subjects and real world careers.

Climate Schools Programme geography taster session

Introduce or recap concepts such as global warming, climate change, carbon removal and net zero carbon emissions.

Introduce students to different methods of generating power and introduce the concepts of carbon removal and carbon capture

Develop analysis skills to identify persuasive writing techniques and highlight bias in climate change reporting.
