About Big Bang at School

Bring STEM inspiration to your classroom with Big Bang at School.

Host an exciting day filled with amazing science and engineering activities and workshops with the Big Bang at School Blueprint! Get support to deliver a self-led event. You’ll receive downloadable worksheets, lesson plans and workshops to create your own event and start an extraordinary journey for your students.

Why take part

We support teachers to deliver an unforgettable STEM inspiration event, without needing to leave the classroom. Big Bang at School offers schools the opportunity to involve the whole school, step outside of the ordinary school day and inspire students through STEM experiences.

Who can take part

The content, activities and curriculum links in Big Bang at School Blueprint are designed secondary schools, with a focus on students aged 11 to 14. Want to get the whole school involved? Go for it! We can work with you to adapt your event to your school's needs.

Registration for Big Bang at School Blueprint is open to state funded secondary schools and colleges in the UK. If you want to invite primary feeder schools to your event, register via your secondary school, and we'll help you get planning.
