EUK Education bursaries open for secondary schools
We’re delighted to open applications for EUK Education bursaries to help schools to provide hands-on STEM engagement activities to students from all backgrounds.

We want more young people to start thinking about a possible future in STEM. So we offer bursaries to help teachers inspire students who don’t necessarily already have a passion for science or engineering. Secondary schools that meet our priority schools criteria can apply for £650 bursaries to put towards Neon activities or to run a Big Bang at School.
Neon is a website that brings future STEM careers to life through brilliant, quality-assured activities – from space and health to coding and the environment. Big Bang at School supports teachers to host their own exciting day filled with amazing science and engineering activities, workshops and more. The bursaries can be used flexibly on kit, activities, staff or travel.
Deadline for applications is 31 July 2025.

Not only that, they wish to select more activities and help the school to research and run them so that more students get involved. We are certainly looking to increase the level of engagement in STEM activities, especially with regards to underrepresented groups such as girls.

We know schools are keen to ensure all their students have access to the very best STEM inspiration activities, but unfortunately funding restrictions can be a challenge for many. We’re delighted to be able to offer our STEM bursaries again this year and look forward to seeing more young people from all backgrounds enjoying exciting STEM experiences and inspiring a diverse future workforce in engineering and technology
