Inspiring students to pursue green careers

3 to 8 November 2025

Green Careers Week helps raise aspirations, increase diversity and challenge stereotypes associated with green jobs to young people. Throughout the week businesses, charities, universities and even museums run events and share resources to inspire the next generation to choose a green career.

We're proud to support Green Careers Week and increase awareness of the variety of green careers available in STEM  for young people. Keep an eye on our social media channels during the week and explore our content to inspire your own activities in the classroom.

Increasing understanding of renewable energy

This is no ordinary science lesson! Energy Quest is a curriculum-aligned practical introducing young people to the concept of 'acting like an engineer’. Lessons are fun, hands-on experiments, as students work together to generate energy, make clean water, or design a shelter.
