STEM Ambassadors

Bring STEM to life

Bring STEM careers to life! STEM Ambassadors are volunteers from across the UK working in science, engineering and tech careers. They offer role model inspiration for students, showing anyone can work in STEM. They volunteer at events and schools all over the UK, including at The Big Bang Fair!

Seven students and a teacher work in a school computer lab. All the young people are looking at their individual screens on their desks.

Meet a role model

Invite an Ambassador to your school free of charge to host a workshop, talk or activity. Meeting with STEM Ambassadors is the perfect opportunity for students to ask questions, discover the breadth of STEM and see people from similar backgrounds to them in a STEM role.

Students get to see inspiring role models and get the answers on what a career in STEM looks like.

Climate Ambassadors

Climate Ambassadors are volunteers from lots of different backgrounds and jobs in STEM. They help support schools to start or develop a climate action plan and inspire students with careers in environmental sustainability.

Invite Climate Ambassadors to work with your school and inspire students learn more about the skills they’ll need for a greener future. Through presentations and workshops, you’ll get to learn why sustainability and climate change matters for your students, their community and the world.
